Mutation - Demo '23

The graves are open and rotten corpses are burning bright in Sweden...not just "holy" scriptures.

The amount of great bands coming out from old Svea is perhaps not surprising but very

uplifting, this time here i focus on the new band Mutation that also shares members

from top bands like Atonement, Eternal Evil, Overture, Beastiality, Antichrist and some more so by now you can suspect Mutation is not something to fart at!

Not even a slight fart.

This debut demo does just what it needs during the three songs here and thats blowing of the lid of every poser cap.... Well to be more precise they have here created a potent soup of Thrash infused Death metal that goes hard! Semi fast shredding old school riffs fly around like killer phantoms (and tasty solos cut in like rabid dags here and there!) and the vocals does that raspy agro spitting (almost talkative style) and some screaming. All members do a solid job and the compositions is on point! (though very inspired by the gods of past of course)

This could just as well have come out in 1986-87 where many Thrash bands was mutating into the early Death metal style.... Just what one of the goals was i guess.

A bit too good recorded though for a demo from that era hehe, but as this is now its a solid killer attack of ancient extreme underground metal, authentic and true mayhem! Also cool band logo which is like a nice nod to the old band Darkified.
