So to prep me before i get their new album "Screaming Triumph" i thought i do a little review on their second album from 2015!

This trio (well it seems they are four members now) from Brazil has been active since 2001 and

have four albums and three EPs and a demo and some singles so thats nothing to sneeze at i think, for me personally i got my eyes on them last year just and only own this one album so i cant brag about being deep into this band but despite this i think i can spill some describing words on and about them.

Their music is a rolling mix of Black metal and Death metal and they have a firm grip on their craft...In other words they are pretty good at playing. Their style and atmosphere stands both in the 90´s semi-melodic Death metal and in the slightly more modern version.

They mix some groovy Thrash and death riffs with some cold sharp black metal cuts here and there, the blend it all quite nice and the overall experience is punchy and good. Nothing super special really objectively speaking besides being solid but for me there is something extra "it" existing inside the bands DNA which take them an extra mile in my book. Hard to put the finger on it but there is an allure there for me.

Back to the music, now listening to it i realizes more nice details and variations in the songs, yeah they put in some extra layers in the compostions and sound details.... These nine songs here creates together an ambience of bitter war and violent explosions (and some grand bits).

Vocals is both going in a semi-deep growl and shrieks here and there and fits their mutated Blackened Death metal well, also while i remember i think its worth mention that this music is pretty straight and easy to get into and its not one of those dissonant backward playing Black/Death metal acts, (while there is some good ones in that kind also of course!)

focus is more headbanging and sombre and angry melodies. Production is pretty clean and well balanced and brings up the war feeling a bit more. Themes is of course of war and Satan!

This CD was released by Mutilation Productions also from Brazil.

I be back sometime in the apocalyptic future with a review on their latest album, will be interesting to see their progress!
